    frequently asked questions

A Kansa wand is a dome-shaped face massaging tool that is designed to stimulate blood circulation. The real magic comes from the metal it is made of—Kansa, which is a combination of copper and tin. Kansa (or bell metal) is revered in Ayurvedic texts as it promotes lymphatic drainage and removes built up toxins.
Yes, it's generally a good practice to wash your face after using a Kansa wand. The Kansa wand massage may leave a residue on your skin, and cleansing your face afterward helps remove any oils, impurities, or particles that may have accumulated during the massage.
The Kansa wand is made of Kansa metal, which is an alloy of copper and tin with trace amounts of zinc. When the Kansa wand comes into contact with the skin, a natural reaction occurs between the metal and the skin's oils and impurities. This reaction can lead to a temporary discoloration or greying of the skin. It's essential to note that this greying effect is usually temporary and can be easily washed off with water and a mild cleanser. The discoloration is not harmful and is considered a normal reaction to the metal.
The frequency with which you can use a Kansa wand depends on your skin type, tolerance, and personal preferences. Kansa wands are often used in facial massage to promote circulation, lymphatic drainage, and relaxation. You can use daily or 2 -3 times a week. Pay attention to how your skin responds to the Kansa wand. If you notice any irritation or discomfort, reduce the frequency of use.
