Frequently Asked Questions

Is Really Good Stretchmark Oil suitable for pregnancy?

Yes, this oil has been formulated for use for pregnancy and is safe to use for during and post pregnancy.

How long does it take before results are visible with Really Good Stretchmark Oil?

The effectiveness and time it takes for Stretchmark Oil to work can vary depending on various factors, including the severity of the stretch marks, individual skin type, and the specific product being used. While some people may notice improvements in the appearance of their stretch marks within a few weeks of regular use, others may require several months of consistent application to see noticeable results. Stretch mark oils generally work by moisturising and nourishing the skin, improving its elasticity and promoting collagen production. They may also contain ingredients that help reduce inflammation and fade the appearance of stretch marks over time. However, it's important to note that stretch marks are a form of scarring, and while certain products may help diminish their appearance, they cannot completely eliminate them.

Can you use Really Good Stretchmark Oil for the face?

Yes, all of the oils in this blend are effective and beneficial for use as a daily moisturiser on the face. Because it is free of essential oils, it is suitable for use on the face and around the eyes. The combination of 5 nourishing oils, including Rosehip and Pomegranate, is well known for its multiple skin benefits.

What is Calendula Oil good for?

Calendula Oil is good for soothing and healing the skin. It can be used to relieve dry, irritated, or sensitive skin, promote wound healing, provide sunburn relief, alleviate diaper rash, and soothe a dry and itchy scalp.

How is Calendula Oil beneficial for babies?

Calendula Oil is beneficial for babies due to its soothing and gentle properties. It can help moisturise and protect sensitive baby skin, alleviate minor skin irritations, and promote a sense of comfort and calmness when used in baby massage or as a skincare ingredient.

What does Calendula do for the skin?

Calendula, also known as Marigold, has been used for centuries for its potential benefits in skincare. Calendula has anti-inflammatory properties that may help soothe and calm irritated or inflamed skin. It can be beneficial for conditions such as minor burns, rashes, insect bites, and sunburns. Calendula Oil is known for its hydrating properties, which can help moisturise dry or chapped skin. It forms a protective barrier on the skin, helping to retain moisture and prevent water loss. Calendula has been traditionally used to aid in wound healing. It may promote tissue regeneration and assist in the natural healing process of minor cuts, scrapes, and bruises. Calendula is generally considered gentle and well-tolerated, making it suitable for sensitive skin types. However, it's still important to perform a patch test to check for any allergic reactions or sensitivities before applying it to a larger area of the skin.

Is Shea Butter good for eczema?

Shea Butter is often considered beneficial for eczema due to its moisturising and nourishing properties. While it may not be a cure for eczema, it can help alleviate some of the symptoms and provide relief. Shea Butter contains compounds with anti-inflammatory properties, such as cinnamic acid. These compounds can help reduce inflammation and soothe irritated skin, which is a common symptom of eczema.

Is Shea Butter safe for sensitive skin?

Shea Butter is generally considered safe for sensitive skin, but individual reactions may vary. Many people with sensitive skin find Shea Butter to be gentle and non-irritating, making it a popular choice for natural skincare. It does not contain many of the harsh chemicals and additives that can trigger sensitivity reactions in some individuals. However, it's important to note that some people may still be sensitive or allergic to Shea Butter, so it's always recommended to do a patch test before applying it to larger areas of the skin.

Can Shea Butter be used on the face?

Yes, Shea Butter can be used on the face. In fact, many people incorporate shea butter into their facial skincare routines due to its moisturising and nourishing properties. Shea Butter forms a protective barrier on the skin, helping to lock in moisture and protect the skin from environmental aggressors. This barrier can be particularly beneficial for those with dry or sensitive skin, providing a shield against harsh weather conditions or pollution.
