Your shopping basket & cookies

If you buy a product from our website, we do use cookies to pass your contact details through the checkout process. But we never request or store any financial details in this way. Your financial details are only ever passed using an encrypted and secure format from our secure payment page to your own bank for processing.

General

We may edit this policy from time to time. Please check this policy regularly for any changes. Our site is hosted on Shopify. Shopify limits customer tracking by downgrading its own non-essential cookies, to session cookies. Session cookies are generally deleted when the customer closes their browser. If a customer consents to tracking, then the non-essential cookies are upgraded to persistent cookies, which are not deleted when the customer closes their browser. Cookies are one way we comply with GDPR guidelines.

Card & Payment processing data
We use third-party payment providers to handle card and payment processing data securely. We never see or store any card or payment information. In accordance with Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) any other data is only used to process your purchase securely. In accordance with Article 6(1)(c) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we need to retain data related to all purchases to fulfil our existing legal obligations to account for tax and VAT on all transactions.

Backup & Data storage
We use service providers within the UK. If we transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area we will, as required by applicable law, ensure that your privacy rights are adequately protected by appropriate safeguards, in particular the EU’s standard contractual clauses. We will keep your personal data for as long as we need it for the purposes set out above, and so this period will vary depending on your interactions with us. For example, where you have made a purchase with us, we will keep a record of your purchase for the period necessary for invoicing, tax and warranty purposes. We may also keep a record of correspondence with you (for example if you have made a complaint about a product) for as long as is necessary to protect us from a legal claim. Where we no longer have a need to keep your information, we will delete it. Please note that where you unsubscribe from our marketing communications, we will keep a record of your email address to ensure we do not send you marketing emails in future.
Security

This Site ensures that data is encrypted when leaving the Site. This process involves the converting of information or data into a code to prevent unauthorised access. Loyalty Programme
When you join our in-store loyalty programme the following details are collected from the form you fill in: name, address, email address, date of birth (optional), time and location of signing up for your loyalty card, marketing opt-in preference and acceptance of our terms and conditions. Our website uses "cookies" to track use and allow customers to purchase from our website. Please note that these cookies do not contain or pass any personal, confidential or financial information or any other information that could be used to identify individual visitors or customers purchasing from our website.
