Our Infusion Process

Embracing the honoured wisdom of Ayurveda’s traditional processes, we expertly craft our blends by infusing a harmonious synergy of Fresh-Ground® Herbs with nature’s most cherished Fresh-Pressed® Oils.

STEP 1: SOURCE

Our first step is to ethically source the purest ingredients from this season's harvest, ensuring that they possess maximum potency and the most genuine benefits.

STEP 2: FRESH-PRESS®

To create our precious oils, we freshly cold-press seeds, nuts, and kernels to produce 100% pure and unrefined oil, preserving the plants’ precious nutrients.

STEP 3: FRESH-GROUND®

The herbs we infuse into our oils are carefully dried before being freshly ground by hand in our London workshop to preserve their potency and quality.

STEP 4: INFUSE

Our herbs and oils are infused for three months to harness their natural therapeutic properties, creating powerfully restorative treatment oils.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the research on Wild Yams effect on hormones?

Research on Wild Yam for hormone balance is limited and inconclusive. While Wild Yam has been traditionally used for hormonal issues, such as menopausal symptoms and hormone imbalances, scientific studies have not provided strong evidence to support its effectiveness for these purposes. Some studies have suggested that Wild Yam may have estrogenic effects due to the presence of phytoestrogens. The conversion of phytoestrogens into active hormones is a complex process that may not occur to a significant extent for all. It is always recommended to consult with a healthcare professional before using any herbal supplement, including Wild Yam, for hormone-related concerns. They can provide personalised advice based on your specific health needs and guide you towards evidence-based treatments.

What does Tulsi do for the mind?

Tulsi, also known as Holy Basil, is believed to have positive effects on the mind and mental well-being. In Ayurveda, Tulsi is considered an adaptogenic herb, which means it can help the body adapt to stress and promote balance. Tulsi is known for its potential to reduce stress, anxiety, and promote a sense of calmness. It is believed to have a balancing effect on the nervous system, helping to enhance mental clarity, focus, and memory.

Is Shatavari good for perimenopause?

Shatavari is often considered beneficial for perimenopause, which is the transitional phase leading to menopause. During perimenopause, hormone levels fluctuate, and women may experience various symptoms such as hot flashes, mood swings, irregular periods, and sleep disturbances. Shatavari is believed to have properties that may help support women's health during this stage. While Shatavari is commonly used in traditional practices for perimenopause, scientific research specifically on its effects during this phase is limited. It's always advisable to consult with a healthcare professional or an Ayurvedic practitioner before using Shatavari or any herbal supplement to address perimenopausal symptoms. They can provide personalised guidance based on your individual health needs and circumstances.

Is Shatavari good for females?

Shatavari is commonly used and considered beneficial for females in traditional Ayurvedic medicine. It is often recommended for women's health and is believed to have several potential benefits. Here are some ways in which Shatavari may be considered good for females. Hormonal Balance: Shatavari is believed to have hormone-balancing properties. It is often used to support menstrual health, regulate menstrual cycles, and alleviate symptoms of hormonal imbalances. It may help promote a healthy balance of female hormones in the body. Reproductive Health: Shatavari is known for its use in supporting reproductive health in women. It is believed to support fertility, promote healthy conception, and provide support during pregnancy. Digestive Health: Shatavari is known for its soothing and cooling properties, which can benefit the digestive system. It may help alleviate digestive discomfort, reduce acidity, and support overall digestive health. Adaptogenic Properties: Shatavari, like other adaptogenic herbs, is believed to help the body cope with stress and promote overall well-being. It may support energy levels, reduce fatigue, and promote a sense of balance. It's important to note that while Shatavari has a long history of traditional use and anecdotal evidence supporting its benefits for females, scientific research on its effectiveness is still limited. It's always advisable to consult with a healthcare professional or an Ayurvedic practitioner before using Shatavari or any herbal supplement. They can provide personalised guidance based on your specific health needs and circumstances.

What does Tulsi do for the body?

Tulsi, also known as Holy Basil, offers various potential benefits for the body. It is highly valued in Ayurveda, the traditional Indian system of medicine. Tulsi is believed to support the immune system, promoting overall health and well-being. It possesses antioxidant properties that help protect cells from oxidative stress caused by free radicals. Tulsi is also known for its potential anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects, which can support respiratory health and aid in digestion. It may promote mental clarity, reduce stress, and enhance cognitive function. Additionally, Tulsi is considered an adaptogen, helping the body cope with stress and promoting balance. Consuming Tulsi as a tea or incorporating it into culinary preparations can provide a nourishing and aromatic addition to one's health regimen.

Is Castor Oil good fore PMS?

Castor Oil has been traditionally used as heat therapy, applying a heating pad or warm compress to the lower abdomen may help alleviate menstrual cramps associated with PMS. If you are experiencing significant or disruptive PMS symptoms, it's advisable to consult with a healthcare professional. They can evaluate your symptoms, provide a proper diagnosis, and recommend appropriate treatments or interventions tailored to your specific needs. It's worth noting that individual responses to treatments may vary, and what works for one person may not work for another.
