What is Chywanprash?
Our Chyawanprash is a spoonful of timeless wellness, steeped in centuries of Ayurvedic wisdom, and is more than just an Ayurvedic jam. It has been produced with care and maintains its roots in ancient tradition.
Chyawanprash's beginnings can be found in a sacred formula created by Indian sages thousands of years ago to regain youth, vigour, and vitality. As the name suggests, it was first made as a restorative tonic for the sage Chyawan to restore equilibrium to his body, mind, and soul. Since then, it has grown to be one of Ayurveda's most renowned formulas, valued for its ability to improve general resilience, boost immunity, and nourish the cells in the body.
This tradition is honoured in our Chyawanprash. The fresh pulp of wild-harvested Amla berries, referred to as the "divine fruit" in Ayurveda because of its very high vitamin C content and restorative properties, is used to make each jar. Along with Amla, thirty powerful Ayurvedic herbs are gently simmered, each selected for their adaptogenic, cleansing, or nourishing properties.
In contrast to mass-produced alternatives, our Chyawanprash is made the old-fashioned way, slow-cooked over an open flame in bronze Uruli jars, to preserve the delicate compounds of the herbs and bring out their inherent synergy.
The outcome? Warming aromas of cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon blended into this rich, naturally sweet, and tangy herbal jam. Made to be enjoyed every day, one golden spoonful at a time, it is a living manifestation of Ayurveda.
Our version is crafted by hand by women skilled in traditional preparation in Kerala, where Ayurveda originated. This is a celebration of nature, wellness, and heritage, not just herbal jam.
Why Is Our Chyawanprash Unique?
Every jar is a loving combination of:
Ayurveda's most revered fruit, fresh, wild-crafted Amla berries, are known for their restorative properties and are high in natural vitamin C.
Traditionally, ghee is used to carry herbs into the body. It helps the body absorb the herbs better, making sure you get the most benefit from them. In Ayurveda, this kind of helper is called an "anupana."
30 fresh herbs, including adaptogenic ingredients that promote immunity, fortitude, and serenity. All of them cooked slowly over an open flame in old bronze Uruli pots, maintaining the nutrients of the delicate plants and allowing the herbs to naturally work together.
Without additives, fillers, or synthetics, our herbal jam adheres to tradition and the natural world.
Each component of our Chyawanprash is selected based on its potency, purity, and intended use. We only use full, natural products, as Ayurveda had originally intended, without the use of processed foods, artificial sweeteners, or preservatives.
Ways to Appreciate Chyawanprash:
To fully gain from it:
- Enjoy it straight from the jar or blend it with warm milk or water for a soothing herbal infusion.
- Take 1-2 tablespoons daily, preferably in the morning on an empty stomach. It's a delightful ritual you'll look forward to because of its naturally sweet and tangy flavour, which is enhanced with warming undertones of cardamom, cinnamon, and aromatic herbs.
Carefully concentrated, deeply balanced, and tenderly made, each jar delivers 25 to 50 spoonfuls of rich Ayurvedic sustenance. Made to provide the combined strength of 30 powerful herbs, fresh Amla fruit, and nourishing ghee, each spoonful is a daily dose of energy.

Is it Authentic?
Absolutely! Our Chyawanprash is a living continuation of Ayurvedic tradition, not just a foundational practice. Made with devotion to the traditions that give Ayurveda its power and longevity, each jar is an homage to centuries-old wisdom.
- Made by craftspeople in Kerala, the cradle of Ayurveda, where healing is revered as a sacred art as much as a science. As experts of age-old crafts that have been handed down through the centuries, women are the keepers of tradition. Every batch is lovingly crafted by women's hands, maintaining the essence of Ayurveda throughout.
- Since potency originates at the source, we start with fresh, wild Amla pulp rather than powder. In Ayurveda, amla is referred to as the "Mother of Healing" and is prized for its revitalising qualities and extraordinarily high vitamin C concentration. By using the fresh pulp, the fruit's full potential is captured and its benefits are delivered in the most bioavailable form.
- In traditional bronze Uruli containers, the Chyawanprash is next cooked slowly, a process that is as much about balance and energy as it is about temperature. The herbs' delicate components are preserved while their synergy is unlocked through this low-heat, open-fire method. It is believed that bronze strengthens the components' alchemical metamorphosis, increasing their therapeutic potency.
- To maintain the greatest standards of integrity and freshness, we produce in small batches rather than large amounts. Every jar is given the careful consideration it requires; there are no compromises or shortcuts, only a very deliberate art.
This is the real Chyawanprash, the Ayurvedic jam, produced the way it was supposed to be, with a foundation in tradition and health.
