It is believed to have antioxidant properties that help combat cellular damage and slow down the aging process. Shilajit is thought to have immune-strengthening properties. It may support the immune system. It’s important to note that while Shilajit has a long history of traditional use, scientific research on its effectiveness is still limited.
Does Shilajit boost testosterone?
Shilajit is often claimed to have testosterone-boosting properties, but the scientific evidence supporting this claim is limited and inconclusive. While some studies suggest that Shilajit may have potential effects on testosterone levels, more research is needed to establish its efficacy and safety in this regard.
What are the side effects of Shilajit?

If you experience any of these symptoms, discontinue use and seek medical attention. Digestive Issues: Some individuals may experience digestive issues such as stomach discomfort, nausea, or diarrhoea when taking Shilajit. It's advisable to start with a low dose and gradually increase to assess your tolerance. Interactions with Medications: Shilajit may interact with certain medications. Yes, Shilajit is generally considered safe for daily use when taken at the recommended dose, typically 300–500mg per day, and Fushi's Shilajit Blend is formulated at 500mg per serving. Clinical research suggests that processed Shilajit at up to 500mg daily has been used safely for periods of up to 48 weeks and appears to be well tolerated in most adults. Most people notice benefits after 3–6 weeks of regular daily use, as Shilajit works gradually by supporting cellular energy and balance rather than delivering an immediate effect. That said, it is advisable to take periodic breaks every 4–6 weeks to support digestive tolerance and avoid potential overstimulation.
