What does 'fresh-ground' and 'cold-pressed' mean?
FRESH GROUND
When we say Fresh-Ground, we mean that the herbs and seeds are ground right before they're infused or pressed, not months in advance. This preserves the nutrients, retains the aromas, and makes the essential oils significantly more active.
COLD PRESSED
Cold-Pressed signifies that the essential oils are extracted without using heat, which prevents them from being burnt or weakened during processing. No heat means no burnt-off goodness.
Together, these procedures preserve our essential oils robust, vivid, and full of the organic compounds you want to see, rather than the flat, lifeless material found in over-processed oils.
From Harvest to Bottle, It's What Sets Us Apart
Pure, fresh & effective. Our commitment to in-season ingredients & small-batch crafting ensures products that are as potent as they are nourishing.
How we select growers:
At Fushi, every essential oil starts with the right grower. We don’t just source ingredients, we build partnerships with farmers who share our values.
Soil, Farming, and Care
We work with farmers that prioritise using nutrient-rich soil and traditional farming practices to keep the plants healthy and the land respected. A large number of our partners are also ROC (Regenerative Organic Certified) farmers, meaning they are expected to adhere to greater standards for soil health and long-term sustainability when farming.
Ethical and Fair Practices
Every farmer we partner with has been checked for fair labour, sustainable practices, and complete transparency. We chose individuals who value their communities as much as their crops.
Small Batches, Maximum Quality
We strive to create in small batches rather than big quantities. It entails fresher essential oils, increased potency, and careful attention to detail. Each bottle reflects the time and effort invested in it.
Full Traceability
Each essential oil and capsule can be traced back to the specific farm from where it originated. We know how it was cultivated, collected, and processed, so you can be confident in every drop.
Low-impact transport and packaging
We are committed to minimising our environmental effect at all stages, including the packaging your items arrive in and how they are delivered. All of our packing, from the boxes to the tape, is 100% recyclable, and we utilise paper void fill instead of plastic padding. Any excess cardboard in our facility is converted into protective packaging, ensuring that nothing usable goes to waste. Behind the scenes, we're continually testing new materials and techniques to recycle, reuse, and decrease waste as we progress towards being a truly zero-waste organisation.

For Deliveries, we work with Royal Mail, which presently has the lowest carbon emissions of any major UK carrier and is slowly growing its fleet of electric vans.
Handcrafted in our London Workshop
In our London workshop, our team lovingly handcrafts remedies in small batches, preserving freshness and efficacy to deliver nature's benefits to you.
Quality testing our essential oils at fushi
1. Every incoming batch at Fushi goes through a meticulous, step-by-step process to ensure that it meets our criteria from the outset. When a shipment arrives at our warehouse, the first thing our intake team checks is the amount and overall quality of the goods, verifying that every item matches the shipping paperwork and purchase orders. Nothing moves on without this first verification.
2. From there, our quality controllers carefully evaluate each essential oil. They check the complete specification and certificate of analysis given by our trusted, licensed suppliers to guarantee that each ingredient satisfies our quality standards and regulatory requirements. We go a step further and do deeper tests on the physical properties of the oil, examining a sample or batch to verify it completely conforms with our expectations.
3. We validate the certification of any organic ingredient, record the organic code, and utilise the appropriate organic labelling on delivery notes and product packaging. Organic and non-organic materials are maintained separate throughout storage to ensure their integrity from beginning to end.
It's lengthy, but its how we ensure the purity and transparency of each bottle we produce.
From farm to bottle...
Harvest
We start by sourcing fresh, high-quality plants grown in nutrient-rich soil. Everything is harvested at peak potency to lock in the highest level of nutrients.
Extract
Once harvested, the ingredients are carefully extracted using gentle methods that protect their natural goodness. No harsh processing, no shortcuts.
Ship
The extracts are then shipped in small, temperature-controlled batches to keep them stable, fresh, and ready for bottling.
Bottle
Every batch is bottled in-house, in small runs, so nothing sits around. This keeps the quality high and the freshness intact.
You
The final product goes straight to you - as close to farm-fresh as a bottled supplement can get. Clean, potent, and made with purpose.
