What is Shatavari?
Shatavari, also known as Satavari, Satavar or Asparagus Racemosus, is traditionally used in Ayurveda as a balancing herb to bring harmony to a pitta or vata dosha or body type.
Although Shatavari grows best in tropic regions, it also thrives in dry, desert environments. Fushi Shatavari is sourced direct from Southern India. Shatavari is a member of the asparagus family, with thin and thorny leaves and an abundance of white fragrant flowers and deep red berries.
